(1) To the king, my lord: your servant Ikkaru. The very best of health to the king, my lord! May Nabû and Marduk bless the king, my lord! May Ninurta and Gula give happiness and physical well-being to [the king], my [lo]rd! (11) [Conce]rning (the prince) [NN] about whom the king, my lord, [wrote to me]: "Sit up with him!" — (r 2) I stay awake with him all night, (but) he makes no progress. (r 4) The king, my lord, should know that he is ill; the king should not find fault with us later on. I have applied two or three lotions, (but) he has not seen any improvement.
