Written in modern English

Lugal-engardug identifies himself as steward of Inana, nueša-priest of Enlil, and son of Enlil-amah — who held those same two offices before him. He addresses Amar-Suena, king of the four quarters and beloved of Inana, as his lord, and declares himself the king's servant.

A modern paraphrase of the literal translation — same content, contemporary voice.
