(1) [To the king, my lord: your servant Ṭab-ṣill-E]šarra. [Good health to the king], my lord! May [Aššur and M[ullissu bless [the king, my lord]! (6) [As to the lo]custs [concerning which the king, my lord], wrote to me: "Write where the locusts have laid eggs! They shall fumigate (these areas) with juniper powder. They shall knock them out at the moment of their hatching." (14) Already before the letter of the Palace came to me, I had the following order issued in the [cities] and vi[llage]s: (r 4) "Fumigate with juniper powder where the [loc]usts have l[aid eggs]!" [Now], we shall knock them out at the moment of their hatching.
