(i 1) For Ninĝirsu, the powerful warrior of Enlil, his master, Gudea, ruler of Lagaš, mined this (piece of) alabaster in the mountain range of Uringiriaz at the Upper Sea, transported it from there, and fashioned a mace with three lion heads from it. He dedicated it for his well-being to (Ninĝirsu).
